The Wombwell Arms is beautifully situated in the rolling hills and woodlands of this quiet corner
of the North York Moors National park. The romantic ruins of Byland Abbey can be found on
the outskirts of Wass, this friendly village pub is popular with both locals and visitors.

The Wombwell Arms makes an ideal base for walkers, cyclists or those
just wanting to explore the surrounding villages and towns.

The 31X bus between York and Helmsley stops right outside the
pub as does the Moors bus during the summer months.
